HARTLAND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Many of us find this Halloween weather rather scary. It’s these snowy conditions putting a kink in what’s become an annual Halloween tradition in Hartland.
The Hogwart House, off the 400 block of Capitol Drive, is a two-night affair: Thursday, Oct. 31 and Saturday evening, Nov. 2.
The event for Thursday night was canceled because of the weather.
Homeowner Dody Marriott says, she’s in storm damage mode clearing the snow from all the outside displays like the Dementor and the train.
She told CBS 58 it’s been pretty much nonstop since the snow started falling Wednesday evening.
If all goes according to plan, the Saturday showing will go on from 6 to 8 p.m. There’s no admission but you’re asked to donate non-perishable canned goods for the Hartland Food Pantry.
