More passengers return to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As more people get vaccinated, the more passengers Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport sees.

According to monthly passenger data from the airport, the number of passengers are beginning to return to pre-pandemic numbers. 

In February 2020, the airport saw roughly 501,600 passengers, and it dipped to roughly 312,400 by March 312,400. By April 2020, the airport had about 23,700 passengers that month.

Fast forward a year, things are seemingly back to normal. In March 2021, the airport saw about 335,200 passengers. In April 2021, there were roughly 344,800 passengers.
