More blood pressure medication recalled for cancer risk

(CBS 58) -- Camber Pharmaceuticals is voluntarily recalling thousands of bottles of the blood pressure drug Losartan due to traces of a potential carcinogen. 

The affected products come in 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg doses. 

The company urges people to consult their doctor before stopping treatment. For more information on the recall from the FDA, please click here. 

Since 2018, there have been at least 19 recalls involving versions of the drug due to cancer fears.
