Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin to participate in the Health Insurance Marketplace in 2019

MILWAUKEE, WI October 2, 2018 – Molina Healthcare has announced that the Company will re-enter the Marketplace in 2019.

Molina will participate in Brown, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha counties next year, offering the largest provider network compared to any other plan in its service areas.

In Brown County, Molina’s reentry will give residents looking for a silver or gold plan in that county a choice, where in 2018, there was only one plan offered.

“We are excited to provide additional health care options to Wisconsin residents,” said Scott Johnson, president of Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin. “Our goal is to make quality health care accessible and affordable to those who are low-income or uninsured – and to make our members feel important.”

The open enrollment period for Marketplace in Wisconsin begins November 1 and runs through December 15 for a membership effective date of January 1, 2019.

All of Molina Healthcare’s Marketplace plans include free preventive care and easy access to a wide network of doctors and hospitals.
