MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Mitchell International Airport has remained mostly unaffected as some airports continue to cut flights, but connecting flights are still causing issues across the nation.
Conor Cavanaugh, visiting from Massachusetts, said he expected delays after reading about flight disruptions. "I was a little disappointed but nothing too bad," he said.
Cian O'Connor, visiting from New Jersey, expressed relief his flight wasn't canceled. "I'm happy mine didn't, but yeah it sucks if your flight gets canceled."
Experts recommend travelers show up extra early to allow time for slower security checks.
