MILWAUKEE -- Mitchell International Airport is now offering a nonstop flight to Salt Lake City, Utah.
The inaugural Delta flight took off on Thursday. Airport representatives said Salt Lake City is a popular destination for skiers. This is Delta’s tenth nonstop destination from Milwaukee.
“We actually had a dozen new nonstop destinations start at Mitchell this year so we’re on a roll,” Marketing and public relations manager Harold Mester said. “It’s very exciting and it gives travelers more opportunities to visit different locations.”
Delta gave gift bags to passengers on the inaugural flight that included salt water taffy made in Salt Lake City.
