MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A nice alternative from getting out of the cold all while exploring the sights and sounds of Milwaukee is called “Skywaukee.” Historic Milwaukee puts on this unique walking tour every Saturday during the winter months. It’s a way to sightsee and get a history lesson as you make your way through a series of skywalks two stories above the downtown area. There are several across Wisconsin Avenue alone. This breathtaking experience lasts about an hour and a half and promises to stimulate your eyes and mind.
The walking tour through the various skywalks begins at 1:00 p.m. Saturdays at the Plankinton Arcade in the Grand Avenue Mall. Online reservations are highly encouraged. We have a link here to assist you.
