MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A free pumpkin giveaway will be held Friday, Oct. 23, at Milwaukee's Victory Over Violence Park.

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs is inviting residents to pick up a free pumpkin from 3:30-5 p.m at the park, located at 2615 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. 

Pumpkins will be available while supplies last. 

Masks are encouraged and will be available on-site along with hand sanitizer.

Event partners include Pete's Fruit Market, HOME GR/OWN Milwaukee and the City's Environmental Collaboration Office, WestCare Wisconsin and the Historic King Drive Business Improvement District.
