Milwaukee's Unsolved Bank Robberies: Sentencing and how to help

MILWAUKEE- So far in 2014 the FBI's Milwaukee office said they have solved 53 of the 83 bank robberies in the state.

That's a clearance rate of 64 percent.

Many of those bad guys caught face harsh Federal sentences.

On Monday, CBS 58 featured three convicted bank robbers who all got at least nine year sentences.

When trying to identify a bank robber, the FBI said to look beyond a mask or facial covering because often times they catch suspects based on anything except a facial feature.

A jacket, shirt, stain, or tattoo for example.

If you think you can help the FBI, call the local office at (414) 276-4684 or check out their Tip line herehttps://tips.fbi.gov/
