Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon takes place October 6

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Thousands of runners will take part in the Lakefront Marathon Sunday, Oct. 6.
The 26.2 mile race starts in Grafton and ends in Milwaukee's Veteran Park.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says deputies will be directing traffic along Lincoln Memorial Drive from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., but recommend drivers take an alternate route if they can.
