MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- CBS 58’s Alex Corradetti and Michael Schlesinger will emcee the inaugural Milwaukee "Walk for 1 in 100," an event benefiting the Adult Congenital Heart Association.
Andy Olson joined us on Wednesday, Oct. 8 to discuss it. He serves on the planning committee for the Milwaukee ACHA "Walk for 1 in 100" and is also an adult congenital heart disease patient.
The walk will take place Saturday, Oct. 11 at Greenfield Park. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., and the opening ceremony starts at 10 a.m.
Since 1998, the association has worked to support and advocate for the more than 2.5 million people living with congenital heart disease nationwide. Organizers hope to raise $30,000 through this year’s event.
