MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With plenty of companies hiring across the area, many are going the extra mile to entice potential workers. There's one company that believes its openings will really put you in the right "spirit."
On Monday, June 28, Central Standard Craft Distillery in Milwaukee held a job fair looking to fill a wide range of positions like servers, bartenders, cooks, tour guides and more.
They wanted to emphasize that for all their positions they're offering more money than what you might consider standard pay.
"We definitely are paying above market rates for what we're doing here. We feel a fair wage is what we want. We want people to have a good work-life balance too," said Central Standard Craft Distillery Co-Founder and President, Pat McQuillan.
Let's not forget the hiring bonuses! Anybody that is hired will get a tasting kit, which includes red cabin bourbon, Door County cherry vodka, and north Wisconsin brandy. You can also get a gift card for a family dinner at the distillery when it opens in August.
