Milwaukee World Festival, Briggs & Stratton extend sponsorship agreement

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard is here to stay at Summerfest.

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. and Briggs & Stratton announced a new agreement on Thursday, Feb. 18.

In a statement, President and CEO of Henry Maier Festival Park Don Smiley said the following:

“We are grateful to Briggs & Stratton for their continued commitment to Summerfest, Henry Maier Festival Park and our community. Briggs & Stratton is a long-time sponsor of the World’s Largest Music Festival and their new corporate leadership understands how the events held at Henry Maier Festival Park not only define Milwaukee’s identity as the City of Festivals, but also provide a substantial economic impact to the region.”

The agreement continues the partnership that began in 1997.
