Woman injured in shooting near Milwaukee River Parkway, suspect arrested

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A shooting near the Milwaukee River Parkway and Oak Leaf Trail left a Milwaukee woman injured Friday, May 28.
Police say it happened around 12:45 p.m.
The 39-year-old victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
A 62-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested.
Officials say criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the upcoming days.
