MPD: Milwaukee woman found dead in vacant lot, homicide investigation underway

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that occurred Monday morning, Feb. 7.
Officials say the victim, a 42-year-old Milwaukee woman, was found deceased in a vacant lot near 37th and Galena around 7:40 a.m.
The cause of death is under investigation, but police say injuries appear to be related to blunt force trauma.
Milwaukee police seek an unknown suspect at this time.
