Milwaukee woman dies from injuries sustained in crash near 27th and Center

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 58-year-old Milwaukee woman is dead following an accident near 27th and Center Sunday, Oct. 11. 

Milwaukee police say two cars collided around 7:30 p.m. 

One of the drivers, a 41-year-old man, was rushed to surgery at a local hospital in critical condition. 

The driver of the other vehicle, a 51-year-old man, was treated for injuries and placed into custody. Alcohol use is suspected. 

Police say the woman was a passenger in the vehicle that was struck. She succumbed to her injures on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County DA's Office.
