Milwaukee woman charged with homicide in Oak Brook Terrace shooting
CBS 58 DUPAGE COUNTY, IL (CBS 58) -- A woman has been charged with first degree murder after a deadly shooting in Oak Brook Terrace Feb. 4.
According to the Count of DuPage, 19-year-old Akrystal C-Woods from Milwaukee has been charged with three counts of first-degree homicide in the shooting of Obaidulla F. Shareff.
Law enforcement identified C-Woods and took her into custody on Feb. 5.
Police say on Feb. 4 around 6 p.m. officers responded to the parking lot of 2 Trans Am Plaza Drive in Oakbrook Terrace, IL for an initial report of a vehicle crash.
When officers arrived, they found one victim inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Life-saving efforts were preformed but the victim died from his injuries.
C-Woods is currently in custody in Milwaukee and is awaiting extradition back to DuPage County.
