MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local woman got the chance to play one of America's most popular game shows.
Corin Purifoy, a fiber artist from Milwaukee, appeared on Wednesday's episode of Jeopardy.
She had the lead at one point, and ended the first round above the returning champ. But she didn't win final Jeopardy and came in second place.
Her friends and family held a watch party for her Wednesday night. She says the loss doesn't matter, because she had a blast.
"It's been overwhelming, the amount of support that I got from them," said Purifoy. "I almost didn't realize how much support I'd be getting until I saw them all here, so it was really exciting."
Corin walked away with $2,000. She says she had to keep that a secret until the episode aired.
You can watch Jeopardy weeknights at 6 p.m. on CBS 58.
