Milwaukee woman accused of stealing debit card from victim she drove to cancer treatment appointments

STURTEVANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman is facing several charges after police say she used the credit card of a person she was driving to cancer treatment appointments.

Sandra Hansen, 27, of Milwaukee is facing charges of felony personal ID theft and credit card fraud.

According to the criminal complaint, Hansen used the victim's debit card twice without his consent at a Sturtevant Walmart back in July. On one occasion, Hansen allegedly purchased one energy drink and requested $100 in cash back.

A witness was able to identify Hansen as the person who used the card.

Hansen had been assisting the 71-year-old victim who was going through cancer treatments.

The victim told police that he believed Hansen took his card while she was driving him to one of his cancer treatment appointments.
