MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman has been criminally charged after police say she stole a day care van with four children still inside on Dec. 16. 

According to a criminal complaint, 27-year-old Katelyn Librizzi jumped into the running van near Appleton and Burleigh and took off when the driver turned away to put salt down. 

Officers tracked the vehicle and performed a traffic stop, locating all four children inside the vehicle.

Librizzi is now charged with child abduction and taking a vehicle without consent; she could spend up to 21 years in prison. 

Records show the court requested a competency examination on Sunday, and cash bond was set at $10,000.

A doctor's report is scheduled for Jan. 29.
