Milwaukee VA Medical Center hosting job fair on Friday

Milwaukee (CBS 58) -- Several nursing positions are open during the VA Job Fair that is happening on Friday.

The Milwaukee Veterans Affairs Medical center has an immediate need to hire several nurse positions, medical support assistants, and universal workers at their main hospital and residential Community Living centers.

The Veterans Job Fair will be held on Friday, September 22.

The Veterans Job Fair, open to veterans and family members, will take place on the 3rd floor Recreation Hall.

In addition to the Milwaukee VA, there will be more than 20 employers on hand who are hiring and have intern opportunities.

Some companies include the postal service, GE Health Care, Aurora, Milwaukee Sheriff’s Department, Quad Graphics and more. Attendees should wear professional attire and bring copies of their resume.

Free parking is available in the medical center parking garage.
