MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- MPS students got some extra goodies to take home from their schools Friday.
At Vincent High School, the Milwaukee Urban League was handing out what they call their "Power Paks."
Each bag was filled with non-perishable snack items, gift cards, educational activities, as well as face masks.
The Power Paks also have contact information for employment and educational coaches for parents.
"We purchased different items, we all packaged it, we had the bags made specifically for our students and the community, it was all hands on deck," said Shirron Hines of the Milwaukee Urban League. "The staff was excited, a great opportunity to show that Milwaukee Urban League still cares."
The Power Paks were handed out at North Division High School as well.
