Milwaukee Teenagers Sentenced to 13 Years and 7 Years for a Series of Carjackings

Two Milwaukee teenagers have been sentenced for a series of carjackings that occurred in Greenfield and Oak Creek.

The incidents happened in August 2015.

Devonte Hayes, 19-years-old, and Norman Howard, 18-years-old, used firearms committed several carjackings.

After speeding away from one scene, the defendants engaged in a high-speed chase with law enforcement and were apprehended after a foot pursuit.

Hayes was sentenced to 13 years for two counts of motor vehicle robbery, one count of attempted motor vehicle robbery, and one count of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

Howard was sentenced to 7 and ½ years of in prison for one count of motor vehicle robbery and one count of attempted motor vehicle robbery.
