MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee start, Jali Fruit Co., is holding a campaign aiming to spread smiles in the community.
The ’10,000 Smiles MKE’ campaign is now underway. From November 1-16 people are encouraged to visit the Jail Fruit website to nominate someone by sharing their email and address.
The Jali Smile Squad will hand-deliver a bag of Party Pineapple (sun-dried) to each nominee starting the week of November 23.
Jali Fruit Co. works to transform food waste into opportunity by working with rural women farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean.
