MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee residents are learning more about the city's anti-displacement plan.
As development ramps up around the city, home prices are soaring.
This plan is an effort to protect lower-income residents who may be forced out of their neighborhoods as property gets more expensive.
"The first step is really educating residents, partnering up with organizations to let them know about the initiative and how we can really use that data and take it to the next level which is solutions right," said Lavelle Young, CEO of Young Development Group.
The Milwaukee Urban League hosted Monday night's public meeting.
