Milwaukee sees violent weekend: 11 people shot, one dead in 48 hours

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- It was another violent weekend in Milwaukee Friday, Feb. 19 through Sunday, Feb. 21.  

In just 48 hours, at least 11 people were shot in seven different shootings. 

Police are looking for the shooters in all of these cases currently.

One of the shootings was deadly. It happened near 16th and Bruce. Police say the victim is a 29-year-old Milwaukee man. They found him with a gunshot wound. He died later from his injuries.

Three men were also shot early Saturday morning near Teutonia and Center.

Police say all three men were in their 20's and not from Milwaukee. Two are from Kenosha and the third is from Chicago.

All three men were taken the hospital where they are expected to survive.
