MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Historic Third Ward in Milwaukee has a calendar full of activity to fill out the month of November. Jordan Dechambre, the Marketing Director for the Historic Third Ward Organization, joined us on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to detail what's up in the Third Ward.
The district will champion local commerce with Small Business Saturday on Saturday, Nov. 25, showcasing special promotions for shoppers. The Journeyman Hotel will start the season's festivities with a Friendsgiving event on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and a Thanksgiving buffet.
On the same date, the Milwaukee Pets Alive Crafty Christmas Fundraiser will offer crafts for a cause at the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB. More art will be on display at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design Holiday Sale beginning Thursday, Nov. 30, with works from students and alumni.
Beer and fun will flow at Explorium Brewpub’s Black Friday event from Friday, Nov. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 26 while Tory Folliard Gallery opens its Holiday Show on Thursday, Nov. 16, featuring art perfect for holiday gifting.
