Milwaukee’s Brew City Match announces funding recipients to boost local businesses
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Brew City Match, based in Milwaukee, announced the recipients of its funding program focused on supporting BIPOC and women business owners. The initiative aims to foster economic growth in underserved communities.
Brew City Match named 25 businesses that will receive funds for operational improvements and scholarships for business coaching in a Thursday, June 22 press release.
The program, initiated in 2019, claims to have allocated $1.16 million in grants to 68 businesses, contributing to the redevelopment of 54 commercial properties while creating over 250 jobs.

- Jvst Beauty
- Pivot RR, LLC
- Prenasis Hair Gallery / Salon Lavish
- Super Expedite LLC
- Victory Vision Business Ventures, S.C.
- Wardlaw Productions LLC
Theodore Lipscomb, Executive Director of Milwaukee’s Local Initiatives Support Corporation, expressed his pride in teh press release, saying, "There is so much opportunity in Milwaukee, and it’s exciting to be able to watch these talented entrepreneurs grow their businesses and help catalyze opportunities for neighborhoods to thrive."
