MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Many people were outside Sunday, taking advantage of the sun and temperatures ahead of the frigid temperatures that will be heading this way.
Many people were out walking, running and sledding.
The lakefront Colectivo was packed.
Some people there said they were just sick of being cooped up in the house and wanted to get out.
The bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills setting in Sunday night, received mixed reviews.
"Birds are singing, flowers blooming, no, always thought it was spring in March, but really it’s not. We are lucky to get a spring here in Wisconsin," said Chuck Cruse.
"I was not happy. I thought we were supposed to get better, I thought we were on an upswing, but clearly there’s more cold weather," added Jeff Meyer.
Those hoping winter sticks around? Ice fisherman.
"I’m open for as much ice as we can get," said Brennan Currier, who was ice fishing on Lake Michigan Sunday.
"We got a heater, get that going, some propane tanks and have a good time."
