Milwaukee residents can rake leaves into the street from Oct. 1-Nov. 15

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee residents can now start raking their leaves into the streets through Nov. 15.

The Department of Public Works will begin collecting leaves on Oct. 18.

Make sure to keep the leaf pile at least a foot away from the curb and away from sewer grates and storm drains. 

Also, do not put any pumpkins, litter or bagged material in the leaf piles.
