City of Milwaukee pushes for more disaster shelters
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The latest census data could change the boundaries and school eligibility for many students and board members in Milwaukee.
On Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, the Milwaukee Public School board was set to meet to discuss two proposed maps based on Milwaukee's population in the 2020 U.S. Census. However, inclement weather canceled the meeting.
The Board could adopt the new redistricting plan and maps as early as Thursday, Feb. 24.
Public comment is welcomed during the meeting.
