MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Public Museum is entering a new chapter with the appointment of Dr. Ellen Censky as the new President and CEO of the museum.
She had been interim president since September. Dr. Censky leads the museum as it tries to envision a new museum site.
She says there are many fun exhibits to come, featuring spiders and more dinosaurs. Dr. Censky says the support from the Milwaukee community makes a big difference for the museum.
"This community is different than every other community I've worked in because we've had a museum around for so long and because of that we are all museum goers," Dr. Ellen Censky said.
The fun continues on Saturday, June 15 with the free BioBlitz Festival. Tag along as more than 100 scientists study Milwaukee's biosphere.
