Milwaukee PrideFest announces headliners for 2024
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Pride, Inc. has announced the lineup for PrideFest 2024, taking place Thursday, June 6 through Saturday, June 8, featuring artists on the SKYYLine Mainstage.
PrideFest will feature R&B, pop and hip-hop star Mya; American Idol alumnus David Archuleta, Swedish synthpop duo Icona Pop, rapper Cupcakke, the “Murray’s Misfits” Las Vegas Spectacular, country artist Dixon Dallas as well as a showcase of RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Alaska, Violet Chachki and Envy Peru along with Ada Vox.
The event will also feature local and international DJ talent, including Mz Worthy and 88NINE Radio Milwaukee’s Kenny Perez, taking to the Dance Pavilion. Other stages at PrideFest will include The Intersection Stage, Children's Stage and the Stonewall Stage & History Exhibit.
PrideFest, which returned after two years of cancellations with record-breaking attendance in 2022 and 2023, enters its 36th year.
Wes Shaver, Milwaukee Pride President and CEO, emphasized the unique nature of PrideFest in a press release announcing the lineup, stating, "If PrideFest is one thing, it’s never a copy and paste of the previous year’s event, and we’re proud of that."
Jorna Taylor, programming director for the Dance Pavilion, discussed the effort to highlight Wisconsin’s diverse talent. "The Dance Pavilion isn’t just about DJs and drag shows; it is about providing a big stage to showcase the myriad of diverse talent here in Wisconsin."
