Milwaukee police seek suspect in theft near 77th and Florist

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in a theft that occurred on Jan. 16.

Police say the suspect forced entry into a locked vehicle near 77th and Florist Avenue around 1:13 a.m. and removed property before fleeing in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as an African American male, 40-50 years of age, 5'11"-6'2", 220-240 pounds, with a thin mustache. He was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older, dark-colored Honda CRV with a spare tire on the back.
