Milwaukee police seek man accused of stealing car with sleeping child inside

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying and locating the suspect wanted in an abduction that occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

Police say the suspect stole a victim's vehicle with the victim's child sleeping inside. 

It happened around 9:50 a.m. near 60th and Capitol Drive.

Authorities say the vehicle and child were later located, and the child was not harmed. 

The suspect is described as an African American man, 20-25 years of age, with a thin build and dreadlocks in a ponytail.

He was last seen wearing a gray knit hat, a white, long-sleeved shirt, black pants, black shoes, dark gloves and a blue face mask.
