MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently searching for the man who fatally stabbed his ex-girlfriend.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ramone Jones, 42, who is charged with Misdemeanor Battery, Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and First Degree Intentional Homicide.

Milwaukee Police were called to the home in the 7000 block of W. Fiebrantz Avenue for a report of a stabbing on February 5. Rescue crews located a child in the garage who said her mother had been stabbed. Despite lifesaving measures, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was later identified as Jamie Wilson.

A woman who lived in the home told officers that the suspect, Jones, used to live in the home with them but was kicked out recently for threatening Wilson. On February 5, Jones allegedly entered the home, fired several shots at a man who was sitting in the living room, before pointing a gun at the woman and Wilson's daughter.

Jones then allegedly went into the bathroom where Wilson was taking a shower and fired a gun before heading to the kitchen and grabbing a knife. Jones then allegedly returned to the bathroom and stabbed Wilson multiple times.

Jones is described as a black male, approximately 5'7, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7360.
