MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say there is no immediate threat to neighbors after a surplus military hand grenade was found on Milwaukee's east side early Thursday morning.
Milwaukee's Harzardous Devices Unit responded to the area around 5 a.m. and recovered an empty grenade hull from a home in the 2800 block of Holton Street.
District 5 police tell us the streets were blocked off near Holton and Hadley as authorities investigated, but the streets have since reopened and authorities have left the scene.
