Milwaukee Police will have officers monitoring and patrolling polling locations during the election on Tuesday.
Police Officers will be working to ensure a safe, orderly and fair election.
They will be periodically checking around voting venues for disruptions, excessive demonstrations, and those interfering with citizens voting.
MPD reminds demonstrators, there is no electioneering (politicking) or demonstrating within 100 feet of any entrance to a poling location. Demonstrators are forbidden from obstructing voters’ paths. The public is asked to call police if they observe any concerning behavior or disruptions.
Those who observe suspected violations are asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-1210.
