Milwaukee police officers find victim bleeding after call for subject with a weapon

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person is in the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting on Milwaukee's north side. 

Milwaukee Police say officers were called to the area of N. Palmer Street and E. Townsend Street around 3:15 Thursday afternoon for a subject with a weapon call. While on the scene, officers heard shots fired in the area and later found a victim bleeding. 

The victim was taken to a local hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
