Police looking for suspects after man stabbed with large hunting knife at Zebb's Family Restaurant

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are searching for five suspects after a 27-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed while getting ready to leave a south side restaurant.

It happened around 4:26 a.m. on Sunday at Zebb's Family Restaurant near 27th and Morgan .

According to police, the victim was eating a meal and getting ready to leave when the suspects entered the restaurant and began assaulting him. One of the suspects was armed with a large hunting knife. 

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.

Police say one of the five suspects is known to them but none are in custody at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing.
