MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The suspect in a reported abduction on Milwaukee's east side early Saturday morning has been released. 

According to investigators, the incident has been found to be baseless in nature.

Milwaukee Police said both the man and woman have been cooperative with law enforcement and after further investigation, the man was released from police custody.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The woman believed to have been abducted in the area of East North Avenue and North Newhall Street early in the morning of March 30 has been found. Milwaukee Police says the woman is safe and unharmed.   

The suspect in the 2:30 a.m. abduction that happened in a 7-Eleven store is in custody. Charges are expected to be presented to the District Attorney's office in the next few days.   

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --  Acting on a tip, the Milwaukee Police have located the suspect in an early morning abduction in Milwaukee. The suspect and his vehicle were found around 11 a.m. Saturday on Milwaukee's northwest side.   

Police are still looking for the victim and investigating the incident.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is asking for help to find a woman believed to have been abducted very early Saturday morning. 

It happened around 2:30 a.m. March 30 near East North Avenue and North Newhall Street. 

Investigators say a woman ran into a business topless while holding a gray jacket. When the suspect came into the business, the woman ran behind the counter and asked an employee to call 911. 

Police say the woman tried to get away from the suspect while inside the business. Once she left, the suspect "bear hugged her" and was able to get her into his vehicle. The suspect then got into the vehicle and drove southbound on Newhall Street. 

The victim is described as an Asian woman with blond and dark hair, topless, wearing black pants.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'08, thin build, short black dreadlocks, last seen wearing a dark blue button up shirt or jacket with a royal blue stripe at the top, black jeans, black shoes with white laces.

The vehicle is described as a 2018 metallic blue Chevy Impala with Illinois license plate E73862.
