Milwaukee police look to identify suspect wanted in attempted robbery

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help to identify and located a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted robbery. 

The robbery happened near 12th Street and Kilbourn Avenue on June 22. 

Police say the suspect attempted to steal belongings from a victim but was unsuccessful. 

The suspect is described a Black male, 20-30 years of age, 5”10” with a thin build, medium complexion, and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a white covid mask, a black t-shirt with the word “O'neal” on the back in blue writing, black shorts with white polka dots, white ankle socks and brown shoes.
