Milwaukee police list 17 shooting victims, 5 arrested, from downtown Friday night shootings
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- MILWAUKEE, WI - On Friday, May 13, multiple shooting incidents took place in downtown Milwaukee between 9:10 p.m. and 11:09 p.m.
Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) responded to multiple shootings near the intersections of Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. and Highland Ave., and Highland Ave. and Water St. According to MPD, the following individuals sustained gunshot injuries, were treated at a local hospital and are expected to survive:
•A 30-year-old male.
•A 26-year-old female.
•A 16-year-old female.
•A 20-year-old male.
•A 20-year-old male.
•A 40-year-old male.
•A 35-year-old female.
•A 47-year-old female.
•An 18-year-old female.
•A 33-year-old male.
•A 20-year-old female.
•An 18-year-old female.
•A 23-year-old male.
•An 18-year-old male.
•A 15-year-old male.
•A 23-year-old male.
The following individuals sustained gunshot injuries, were treated at a local hospital and then arrested:
•A 28-year-old male.
•A 20-year-old male.
•A 30-year-old male.
•A 21-year-old male.
•A 29-year-old male .
Police say six additional men were arrested in connection to the shooting incidents: a 19-year-old, three 20-year-olds, a 23-year-old and a 24-year-old male. Criminal charges for all arrestees will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
