MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The woman killed in a murder-suicide on Monday has been identified as 27-year-old Neyaka Oliver.

Milwaukee police say a man had been charged just days before he killed his girlfriend and then himself. According to the criminal complaint, Oliver went to police and told them her boyfriend beat her up and threatened to stab her. Oliver and the man were found dead in a home near 58th and Keefe on Monday.

Police have not released the suspect's name at this time.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide on the city's north side. 

Police say it happened around 9:00 a.m. near 58th and Keefe. According to investigators, a 27-year-old woman was shot and killed by a known 26-year-old suspect who then took his own life. 

The investigation is ongoing. The Medical Examiner reported earlier on Monday that their autopsies have been planned for Tuesday.
