MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A reminder, especially as we get closer to the holidays, to protect the packages you have delivered to your home.
Milwaukee Police say someone stole a package from the front porch of a home near 66th and Hadley on the north side. It happened on Monday around 2 p.m.
A woman who lives near the house says it has been an ongoing problem in the neighborhood.
"We've been kind of looking out for each other and making each other aware that it's gonna happen and our neighbors have been aware and we've been taking extra precautions by having the packages delivered or put in the back of the house or the side of the house," said Anoma Stoiber, the neighbor.
A man in Brown Deer also says someone opened a package that was delivered to his home on Monday and took what was inside.
