Milwaukee police investigating shooting near Green Bay and Silver Spring

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot near Green Bay Avenue and Silver Spring Drive Friday, Jan. 31.

Authorities say the victim, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, was cut off by a blue four-door vehicle around 5:46 p.m.

The victim pulled up next to the suspect vehicle and exchanged words with the driver. The suspect produced a dark handgun and began firing at the victim. 

The victim was struck and suffered a non-life threatening injury. 

Police say the suspect is an African American male. No further description has yet been released.
