Milwaukee police investigating serious crash near 58th and W. Fond du Lac Avenue

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a serious crash that occurred on Saturday, March 12 at 11:05 a.m. on 58th and W. Fond Du Lac Avenue.
One driver, a 43-year-old Milwaukee woman, was attempting to make a left turn. She sustained life-threatening injuries.
The woman was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
The other driver was a 22-year-old Milwaukee man who sustained non-fatal injuries.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated an arrested.
Speed is said to be a factor in this incident.
This investigation is ongoing.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office over the next few days.
