Milwaukee Police investigating "running gun battle between two vehicles" near 11th and Orchard

MILWAUKEE Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating what is described as a running gun battle between two vehicles on Milwaukee's south side.

According to police, shots were exchanged between two vehicles in the area of S. 11th and W. Orchard Street around 6:45 p.m. Friday evening.

There were no injuries reported.

Two parked cars and a house were struck by the gunfire and police have recovered several shell casings at the scene.

At this time, the only description the police have of the suspect vehicles is that one was blue and the second one is believed to be a red SUV.

Police are currently searching for possible surveillance video that may have recorded the vehicles involved.

Milwaukee Police continue their investigation.
