Milwaukee Police investigating overnight shooting that left one dead

MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred at 2:33 a.m. on Feb. 19 on the 1300 block of W. North Ave.

Officials say the shooting stemmed from an argument between a 25-year-old Milwaukee man and a 35-year-old Milwaukee man.

The argument ended in them firing gunshots at each other.

The 25-year-old man was killed in the shooting.

The 35-year-old man sustained non-fatal injuries. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and was arrested.

Criminal charges will be referred in the coming days by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
