MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal double shooting near W. Burleigh and N. 2nd St. 

The shooting happened around 6:08 p.m. on Saturday, May 31. 

A 29-year-old victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim, a 48-year-old, was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to the injuries despite life saving measures. 

The investigation is ongoing and Milwaukee police are seeking out suspect(s).
